Skeleton Crew Chronicles 4 - Monthly Update
Hi there Crewmates. Our bones are rising up from the depths of our well-earned summer break, brimming with updates, news and milestone celebrations. Did you miss us? This time, we bring bumper tidings from across the Skeleton Crew, covering everything from highly portable frogs to the latest advancements in peasant economics. Let’s take a look…

COZY MARBLES IS OUT NOW!
Comfy gamers rejoice! Pixel Pea Games’ delightful Cozy Marbles has rolled out into the world, bringing a nostalgic slice of marble run building that’s big on creativity and low on stress. Explore fairytale realms, charming homes and starlit spacecraft as you craft your dream creations to a blissed out soundtrack.
There’s a free demo if you fancy dipping your toes in - but with 10% off on Steam right now, there’s never been a better time to relax and reclaim some headspace with some lovely little marbles.
FROG SQWAD HOPS OVER TO GAMESCOM WITH ASUS, PLUS NEW ROOMS PREVIEW
Panic Stations’ unrelentingly chaotic amphibian co-op title, Frog Sqwad, is beefing up its offering with a slew of new rooms as part of an upcoming major update. You can take an early peek at three of these fiendish creations over on Steam - please look forward to gathering your pals to swing, tumble and trip your way through spinning plates, laser alarms and an unreasonable amount of green slime.
You can also catch your favourite froggies over at Gamescom, with Frog Sqwad teaming up with our pals at ASUS to celebrate the handheld gaming goodness of the ROG Ally X. Frog Sqwad on the bus, the train…the loo? What a time to be alive.
BLADESONG UNSHEATHES MAJOR NEW UPDATE
Bladesong, the ultimate swordmaking game from Sun and Serpent Creations, enters its 3rd chapter with an update that’s full to the hilt with dark storytelling, fearsome foes and big beautiful blades. Meet arena duellist Ezrae the Fighter, tend to your garden and complete the all-new Compendium - ready to document all the foul beasts you encounter.
You can experience Bladesong in early access right now on Steam - it’s time to carve your legacy (anvil included).
VERY SAFE DINO PARK HITS 200K WISHLISTS AND TEASES PLAYTEST
The thing about dinosaur theme parks is that they very rarely, if ever, go well. On the positive side, over 200K folks are willing to get hurt again, as Very Safe Dino Park hits another wishlist milestone over on Steam. The team at Panic Stations are super excited to share more of their prehistoric co-op simulator - so much so that they’re planning a playtest…and you’re invited!
To find out how to get an early hands-on, keep an eye on Steam and Panic Stations’ social for further info.
DEADSTICK SOARS TO 150K WISHLISTS
We seem to be experiencing a sudden upward trajectory for Deadstick: Bush Pilot Simulator…but we’re assured it’s mostly safe. Appetite for Spiral House and REMEX Software’s unforgiving take on the flight sim genre has really taken off (sorry), with over 150K prospective pilots intrigued at the prospect of high-risk, high-reward survival flying.
If your piloting priorities skew a little less ‘free peanuts’ and a little more ‘limping over a mountain with a catastrophic fuel leak’, you can join the treacherous fun over on Steam.
MAIN SEQUENCE…ALSO HITS 150K WISHLISTS
If you’re not getting up at 4am each morning, taking ice baths and running your own interstellar industrial empire, are you really thriving? Main Sequence, the first-person space-sim factory builder from Tumbling Dumpling Studio, attempts to address this. And it feels like fans of galactic automation are on-board, with over 150K of you adding the game to their Steam wishlist!
Refine resources, craft machines and connect them with a glorious amount of conveyor belts for ultimate efficiency as you expand your creations through the depths of space. Main Sequence is coming soon to Steam early access - but there’s a cool free demo if you just can’t wait.
GOING MEDIEVAL MANIPULATES THE MARKET
Going Medieval developers, Foxy Voxel, are getting all economical with their latest update, bringing sackloads of new depth to trading. They’ve introduced factional-specific resources, building a more realistic link between different groups’ personalities and priorities, and what they love (and hate!) to trade. If you’re dealing with monarchists, come laden with luxury goods for a warm welcome - whereas taboo goods could lead to unexpected bouts of dramatic fainting.
There’s also a bunch of additional changes to the way markets work - and with Going Medieval available now for 25% off on Steam, you don’t need to be a peasant entrepreneur to know it’s a good deal.
Until next time, Crewmates!
