THRONEFALL CRAAGHELM DLC + CONSOLE PORTS DROP NOVEMBER 11
Steam! Steel! Strategy! Thronefall has taken the whole minimalist strategy thing literally by dropping a super-sized Dwarven update on us all. Take on the mantle of the last Dwarven King and reclaim your mountain’s ancestral halls from sinister mechanical Constructs. There’s even a Clockwork Oliphaunt, which depending on which flavour of nerd you are is either confusing or ridiculously cool (we’re the latter). There’s loads more info over on the latest dev blog.
Plus, budding console strategists can join the fun with Thronefall’s illustrious console debut, hitting PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms. All of this drops on November 11 (pray for the marketing team).
CRACK SURGEONS ANNOUNCED
The latest dose of co-operative mayhem prescribed by the Panic Stations pigeons is coming soon! Crack Surgeons is a chaotic co-op surgery game for 1 to 4 backyard doctors. Shrink down, venture inside patients deemed unsaveable by traditional medicine and cure bizarre ailments from the inside out.
You can prepare for your future medical malpractice lawsuit by registering your interest in future playtests over on Steam. Give it a Wishlist too, please. It’s gonna be gross.
CLEANER COMPANY REVEALS RELEASE DATE AND EXCLUSIVE COSMETIC
Star wipers, ready your mops - Cleaner Company is coming January 28, 2027! Wildflame Studio’s hyper gory cleaning sim is prepping for launch, ready to catapult sanitation professionals into a galactic world of co-operative grossness. Live out your space janitor fantasies with your buddies in co-op as you cleanse abandoned space stations and alien outposts of blood, detritus and the organs of creatures currently unknown to science.
If you’ve not given it a go, now’s the perfect time. You can find the Cleaner Company demo starring in Steam’s Next Fest - and you’ll get an exclusively fishy top hat for your troubles, too.
FROG SQWAD GOES CROSSPLAY WITH CONSOLE RELEASE
Big news emanating from the Sewers as Panic Stations’ Frog Sqwad confirms it’s leaping onto PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 on October 28th! And new platforms mean new possibilities for chaos with the announcement of crossplay - so no matter where you grab your froggy fix, you’ll soon be able to play together in hoppin’ harmony. All glory to crossplay! And the Swamp King, always.
Those aren’t the only happenings down in the Swamp, with rumblings of new maps, hats and general fixes aplenty. You can read all about it over on Steam.
DEADSTICK - BUSH PILOT SIMULATOR LANDS AT FSIMUK
Deadstick’s survival spin on the flight sim captured plenty of attention with a flying visit to Bristol’s Flight Simulator UK event. Enthusiasts were able to get hands-on at the booth, with the team showcasing high stakes bush pilot action, featuring a healthy split of white knuckle successes and fiery miscalculations. Folks at the event compared it to “SnowRunner with wings” and “Derail Valley in a plane”. Nice.
You can have a spy at the booth over on the Deadstick YouTube.
VERY SAFE DINO PARK TEASES PLAYTESTS + UPDATES
The chaos continues over at Very Safe Dino Park, Panic Stations’ prehistoric playpen of park management, severed limbs and dino dung. Rumours abound of new ways to ‘chemically relax’ guests and fellow Rangers, alongside enhanced building freedom and character customisation.
There’s even murmurings of an upcoming playtest! Best get over to Steam and keep an eye out.
GOING MEDIEVAL RELEASES DIPLOMACY UPDATE
Hark! In the harsh realm of the post-plague wilderness, relationships with other factions often depended on well deployed bags of coin…or the sharp tip of a blazing arrow. But now, Going Medieval’s brand new Diplomacy Update brings a fresh layer of nuance to your settlement’s dealings with the outside world. Establish diplomatic relations with 12 NPC factions as you trade favours and deepen relationships with huge potential impacts on your world. And don’t worry, you can still just burn their settlement down if you’re not feeling particularly ‘diplomatic’ today.
With new events, hirelings, mercenaries and a whole heap of quality of life improvements, there’s loads more to dig into - and it’s all diligently covered in their latest Steam blog.

MYTHRIGHT TRIO TAKE ON STEAM NEXT FEST
A whopping three Mythwright indie gaming gems are taking part in the latest Steam Next Fest - a celebration of delicious free demos all vying for your attention. Space-based viscera scrubbing sensation, Cleaner Company, will be there (with a very silly cosmetic, too). They are joined by Main Sequence, a space sim factory builder for those who fancy building an interstellar empire and Fakutori, a gorgeously colourful laid-back take on the factory automation genre.
You can play all three demos now on Steam so go give them a go! And don’t forget to drop a review and support those talented indie devs.
